One of the longest climbs in Belgium with several alley variants and a real classic, especially the well-known alley of the spring classic Liège-Bastogne-Liège. The most picturesque climb of the Rosier is one of the most beautiful in the Ardennes. You will find beautiful waterfalls on the way and many terraces for drinks and food, a cosy place. In Stavelot you will pass through a railway tunnel with automatic lighting inside. In winter, it can be very cold and damp, and even rainy inside. When you arrive in Robertville, you have a beautiful view of the Robertville Dam and its lake, bordered by a dense coniferous forest. Here on Monschau street you will find the climb to Ternell or as a continuation to Mützenich or Monschau across the High Fens. Of course in the opposite direction to Eupen. it's easy to cycle in either direction. A little quieter during the week than at the weekend. By the way, it's always a bit colder here.
